Completed in 2008
Artech provided a complete renovation to the church interior. The project began with Artech presenting the church with a design. Once the specifications were agreed upon, the ceiling was skim coated and the damaged plaster on the walls was repaired, then all areas were base painted along with gold accents and a faux marble finish on the columns, according to the design. Window seals were repaired and painted.
The old carpet was removed and then the original hardwood floor was sanded down and finished to a beautiful shine.
While the work was being done in the church, the pews and frontal screens were removed from the church and brought to our shop where they were stripped to the bare wood and refinished to match the original stain color. The ends were repainted white to match the pulpit paint color. The altar railing was also refinished.
