Servicing CT, MA, ME, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, & VT

Every project starts with a plan. Sometimes you will know exactly what you want and we can make that a reality. Other times you may need some help in forming a clear plan for what you want and in those cases, at your church’s request, Artech Church Interiors brings in a team of professionals led by an experienced church interior designer who understands how a church functions.

We can meet with your committee and evaluate your particular situation.

We will listen to your needs and get a feel for everything the committee wants, from timing to budget to materials and colors. From there, we will make our expert recommendations for your committee to consider.

With the committee’s consent, the next step is to have a complete set of color renderings of the proposed facility drawn up precisely based on what was discussed. These renderings will help you and the congregation to visualize what the completed work will look like. Additionally, the renderings can be a very effective display tool for you as part of a capital campaign or fund-raising drive towards the cost of the project.

The renderings are presented to the committee for initial approval. Upon committee approval Artech Church Interiors compiles all elements necessary for completion of your church’s renovation. Based on the renderings, a set of working drawings will be completed. The working drawings will allow us to more accurately calculate the project cost we will present to you. These accompany our craftsmen, who travel to your city and work there throughout the project’s duration.

3D Renderings

Use 3D architectural renderings to help key decision makers understand and view the proposed project in photo-realistic detail. A 3D rendering is key for reviewing with a committee, makes easy planning permission and a sure way to win your capital campaign. Use high-quality 3D renderings to: present an interior long before the space has been built, show various concepts for one project, get the project approved in less time and avoid costly mistakes in realization.

Floor Layouts

A floor plan is a drawing to scale, showing a view from above, of the relationships between rooms, pews, walkways, and other physical features at one level of the sanctuary. Dimensions are usually drawn between the walls to specify room sizes and wall lengths. Floor plans may also include details of fixtures like sinks, water heaters, furnaces, etc. Floor plans may include notes for construction to specify finishes, construction methods, or symbols for electrical items. Floor plans are especially important when installing new pews or doing a full church renovation.

Curved Pews

Curved Pews are designed for maximum seating, efficient use of space, and designed to enhance the worship experience.

Mitered Pews

Mitered Pews are less custom than Curved Pews, but have improved seating capacity and comfort as compared to traditional straight pews.

Straight Pews

The straight pew is the oldest traditional and most well known style. Although most straight pews are in a line facing the front of the church, Artech can specify a seating arrangement placed inline or designed in a pie-shaped seating configuration, improving the seating capacity and viewing comfort of congregants.
